How often and where is the conference held?
DSF hosts its Family & Professional Conference every 2 years. The location changes from region to region across the U.S. Our first conference was held in 2014 in Chicago. The location for our 2018 has not been selected yet, but will be held in a different region. Location announcement will happen in early 2017.
Is onsite registration available?
Onsite registration IS NOT available. All attendees must register for the event by Friday, June 17th.
What is included in my registration fee?
A 3-day family registration fee includes admission to all sessions, breakfast and lunch each day and the Thursday evening cocktail reception. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, all family members and caregivers in attendance are also invited to our social events on Friday and Saturday evening. 1-day registration fees include breakfast, lunch and any social activities for that day only.

We will once again offer conference pass sharing for families. Two parents or a parent and caregiver may share one conference registration if they are taking turns caring for a Dravet child onsite. Only one person per pass will be permitted in sessions at any one time. You must fill out the name of the 2nd person who is sharing your pass at the time of registration.

GW Pharmaceuticals is sponsoring a Family Scholarship Program for this event. More details can be found on the Family Scholarship page, at this link.
Are children allowed in the conference sessions?
In consideration of your fellow attendees and presenters, children will not be permitted in sessions at any time.

Activity rooms will be available for children and adults with Dravet syndrome at no cost, but they must have a caregiver in attendance at all time. No nursing staff or aides will be provided.
We will once again offer our Sibling Day Camp for a small fee, for children 4-17 years old. Siblings will have the opportunity to connect with one another while doing onsite and offsite activities with volunteer staff. Breakfast and lunch are included with their registration.
What is the dress code?
While there is no set dress code, we suggest business casual for the sessions.
